BRUNSWICK, Maine
(AP) -- The Maine Technology Institute will provide grants to eight Maine companies to help develop new products and services.
The grants will total $82,763 and will go to firms in sectors such as marine technology, aquaculture, environmental technologies and information technology.
The largest grant will go to Municipay of Scarborough. The firm will get $28,723.
Others receiving grants include Farmer Brown Organics of Presque Isle, which will get $5,000, and Kennebec River Biosciences Inc. in Richmond, which will get $20,000.
