Magic Bars make for an easy and delicious holiday dessert

Lynn Archer's Magic Bars are easy to make and kids will love helping out.

PORTLAND, Maine — Lynn Archer Chef  and Owner of Brass Compass Cafe  and Archer's On the Pier Rockland demonstrates her recipe for Magic Bars. A kid favorite.


In a 9x13 Pan Layer in the following order

1/2 Cup Butter melted

Spread 1 1/2 Cups Crushed Graham Crackers

1 1/2 Cups Coconut, spread evenly... that's your base. 

1 Cup Chocolate Chips

1 Cup Butterscotch chips

1/2 Cup nuts (Lynn used walnuts)

1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk!) 

Bake in the oven for 35 mins at 350 degrees.

Let it cool & cut & serve.

Will please any crowd.
