LEWISTON, Maine — Police in Lewiston are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teenager, last seen Thursday in Lewiston, and later in Portland.
Malika Ragon-Wright, 16, failed to return to a group home on Pond Road, police said. She's a severe diabetic and requires daily insulin.
Ragon-Wright's mother resides in South Portland, police said, so there's a chance she may be in the South Portland-Portland area.
Police said she was last seen leaving Lewiston High School on Thursday, and later that night in Portland.
There's no indication she's in danger to herself or anyone else, police said, but the concern exists due to insulin dependency and the fact she's a juvenile.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ragon-Wright is asked to call the Lewiston Police Department at 207-784-6421.
