BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- The Maine Discovery Museum holds a Gingerbread House workshop every year. This year's class on the beloved family tradition is already sold out. But don't worry, because NEWS CENTER is bringing the workshop to you.
Gingerbread house instructor Trudi Plummer is from Germany and has been making Gingerbread houses since she was a child in Northern Bavaria.
Trudi now lives in the U.S. and is the Director of Education at the Maine Discovery Museum since 2001.

Trudi was kind enough to share with everyone just how she makes the holiday favorites.
Before moving to the USA with her husband Trudi received her M. ED from the Julius Maximillian University in Wuerzburg, Germany. She taught at a small village school and led the “KiKiBu” project: educational outreach to mountain communities in Northern Bavaria.
She has developed and taught nearly every educational program at the museum and outreach all over Maine.
