Hundreds expected at benefit supper for Cpl. Eugene Cole

Law enforcement agencies will eat at the supper for free.

NORRIDGEWOCK (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- As a community prepares to lay a sheriff's deputy to rest, hundreds are expected to come together to support Corporal Eugene Cole's family. The Lebanon Masonic Lodge #116 in Norridgewock is hosting a spaghetti supper Saturday evening.

Between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., anyone in the community is welcome to come eat delicious food and gather to honor the life of Corporal Cole. Every dollar raised will be donated to the Corporal Cole's family.

Initially, organizers only thought about 100 would attend, but are now expecting upwards of 500. Law enforcement agencies will eat at the supper for free.
