STANDISH (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- A firefighter was injured responding to a house fire on the White Bridge Road Saturday evening.
Standish Fire Cheif Rob Caron said that the 2.5 story residence was in flames and had requested back up untis from Windham, Gorham, and Raymond.
Caron says there was no one at the home at the time of the fire, but that it is believed the family lost a dog in the fire.
One firefighter was treated for heat related injuries at the scene.
The fire was declared under control at 8:55PM Saturday.
