Officials say an elderly man found dead on his front porch Tuesday afternoon, had been deceased for a few days.
The 77-year-old man lived alone according to police and was found by his neighbor on January 1, 2019, at his home in Dover-Foxcroft.
The neighbor plowed the deceased man's driveway after he noticed it hadn't been plowed. Afterward, he walked up to the front porch where he discovered his neighbor's body, according to Dover-Foxcroft Police Chief Ryan Reardon.
Police are waiting to release the man's name until family has been contacted. They say the man had no apparent relatives in the immediate area.
