East Millinocket Police arrest two people for possession of crystal meth

Police say the two cases were unrelated, and both were arrested in Medway.

MEDWAY, Maine — East Millinocket Police arrested two people for possession of crystal meth in unrelated cases on Saturday.

Police said 48-year-old Kendie Davis of East Millinocket, and 35-year-old Jules Michaud of Mattawamkeag, were each arrested in separate incidents in Medway.

They arrested Davis after she left her purse in a home where Cpl. Bradley Fitzgerald and Ofc. Steve Perreault were conducting a bail check. Inside the purse, officers found a small amount of crystal meth. Police said Davis returned home to retrieve it. They charged her with Unlawful Possession of Schedule Drugs.

Later, police arrested Michaud during a traffic stop on Medway Road.

During the stop, Sgt. Seth Burnes found crystal meth, along with drug paraphernalia, on Michaud, who is also on bail, and arrested him for Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drugs as well as Violation of Conditional Release.

Davis was transported to the East Millinocket Police Department where she was able to post bail while Michaud was transported to the Penobscot County Jail.

Both Davis and Michaud are scheduled to make their initial court appearances in July.
