HARPSWELL, Maine — A commercial wrecker had to be removed from the ocean in Harpswell Wednesday after a dock system delivery went wrong.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says the wrecker was in the process of delivering the dock system on May 15 when the ground underneath gave way, causing the vehicle to sink into the water.
The wrecker was reportedly owned and operated by Harold Gray of Bowdoin.
Copp Motors of Cumberland removed the wrecker.
No injuries were reported during this incident, and no discharge of fuel or hazardous materials were released.
