After years of delays and more than $200 million, it looks like D.C.'s streetcar system will finally start running on February 27.

So to celebrate and get Washingtonians ready, DDOT has released a cheesy video aimed at educating people on how to ride the streetcar.

It's supposed to be a parody of 80s movie montages, but it ends up being over the top cringeworthy. On the plus side, it's very gifable.

Once you remove your palm from your face, the video does actually contain some pretty useful nuggets. For example, DDOT is recommending that bikers use the G and I Street bike lanes instead of H Street. And cars should park inside the white lines on H Street to avoid blocking the streetcar.

The streetcars start running on February 27 and will be free for an introductory period.
