BRUNSWICK, Maine — A Harpswell man was killed Tuesday afternoon in Brunswick when his car crashed on River Road, not far from Simpson Brook.

Nathan L'Heureux, 26, was killed when the green 2005 Subaru Outback station wagon he was driving struck several trees and rolled over shortly before 3 p.m., Brunswick Police Cmdr. Thomas Garrepy said in a release.

Garrepy said police and fire personnel arrived to find L'Heureux had been ejected from the car and suffered fatal injuries.

There were no other occupants of the car.

River Road was closed for several hours while police cleared the scene. The crash is under investigation by the department's Collision Reconstruction Team.
