BANGOR, Maine — It was a 'ruff' day for the old Bangor Humane Society building on Monday.
The facility was closed on May 13 as construction began to remove the original Bangor Humane Society building, which is right next to the current one. The plan is designed to create more parking for visitors.
Back in March, the organization announced it was trying to raise 1.75 million dollars to improve its building.
The Bangor Humane Society will be closed until Wednesday, May 15 when it will reopen to the public for intakes and adoption.
