BANGOR (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- You may have an opportunity to turn some of your unwanted items into a pile of cash. The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce posted on its Facebook page about the History Channel’s American Pickers show coming to New England soon.
American Pickers is a professional kind of yard sale group picking up antiques and collectibles around the United States for resale, for clients, or for their own personal collections.
Their Facebook page says, "Do you know of an awesome collection you think we just gotta pick? Contact us."
The Chamber posted “American Pickers reached out to us asking if we could direct them to collections in Maine! Do you have or now someone with a lot of "stuff" that might be of interest to them?”
The American Pickers Facebook page says “Coming to the New England area VERY SOON! ME, CT, NH, VT, MA, RI, we're talking to you! If you have a BIG collection with an even BIGGER story or know of anyone who does.”
