NAPLES (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Two people were arrested on drug charges Monday in Naples.
Deputies responded Monday night to a report of a suspicious vehicle on River Road in Naples, according to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy Det. Lt. Donald Foss. He said after the car was located, information led to a search of the vehicle.
Det. Lt. Foss said a 9mm handgun, 15 grams of heroin/ fentanyl packaged for sale, $7,500 in cash, other medications and various other drug paraphernalia were seized.
Jason R. Dailey, 36, of Naples, was charged with aggravated trafficking schedule drugs with a firearm, possession schedule W drugs, and possession of greater than 200 milligrams of fentanyl
Taylor Bell, 26, of Naples, was charged with aggravated trafficking schedule drugs with a firearm, possession schedule W drugs, possession of greater than 200 milligrams of fentanyl and a suspended driver's license
Foss said both Bell and Dailey were taken to Cumberland County Jail and were arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon. Dailey was released on $5,000 cash bail.
Bell remains at CCJ. Her bail was set by the court at $2,500 cash.
