1. POLICE SEARCH FOR MAN CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Police in Rochester, New Hampshire are looking for Christopher Thomas, a man who was seen yesterday afternoon with a rifle in the back parking lot of Walmart on Farmington Road in Rochester. He then ran into the woods. Police are asking people to stay away from that area while they search, and businesses on that road have evacuated.

2. DUNLAP TALKS ABOUT RCV PROGRESS

Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap says he's not worried about potential lawsuits as the ranked choice count to decide the second district congressional election rolls on. The RCV ballots will continue to be counted today, and democrat Jared Golden says he would not challenge the results if they aren't in his favor, but republican Bruce Poliquin has not given a definite answer. Meanwhile, the Maine GOP claims in a Facebook post that there are unsecured RCV ballots, which they say make the ranked choice process "concerning."

3. VETERANS DAY CELEBRATIONS ACROSS MAINE

Several Maine communities are honoring Veterans Day today, along with the celebrations yesterday. One such celebration in Bangor brought together veterans and middle- and high-school students. Meanwhile, Sec. of State Matt Dunlap debuted a new stars and stripes license plate, available to order tomorrow.

4. PRESIDENT TRUMP IN FRANCE FOR 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF WORLD WAR I ENDING

President Trump joined dozens of world leaders in France yesterday to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. While he was there, President Trump listened to French President Emmanuel Macron deliver remarks that criticized "nationalism," a term Mr. Trump has used to describe his own politics.
