WINDHAM, Maine — A 23-year-old Lewiston woman was reportedly injured Wednesday night when she was hit by a Jeep in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Windham.
Windham police said they were investigating it as a hit-and-run.
The incident happened at about 10 p.m., and police said it was reported to them that 23-year-old Caitlyn Bloomgren of Lewiston was struck by a Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot along Roosevelt Trail, or Route 302.
She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Windham Police Capt. William Andrew said the Jeep was being driven by a 16-year-old girl from Standish.
