LINNEUS, Maine — Police say a woman was injured in Linneus after she hit some slush and rolled her 2007 Chevrolet Malibu over into some trees.
The driver of the Malibu was identified as Alicia Dwyer, 35, of Linneus. Dwyer crossed the center line and went into the ditch on the left side of the road.
Police say that Dwyer was not wearing her seat belt and was thrown into the passenger side of the vehicle.
Dwyer had to be extracted from the vehicle by Linneus and Houlton Fire Department. Dwyer was taken to Houlton Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dwyer's husband and child were in the vehicle, but both were wearing their seat belts and were uninjured in the crash.
