CASCO, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Families come from all corners of the world to vacation in Maine.

That includes at least a dozen who have made their way to Camp Sunshine for a week on Sebago Lake in Casco. It's a respite for children with life-threatening diseases.

Navy SEALs ran, biked and kayaked in the No Man Left Behind Challenge on Tuesday at Point Sebago to raise money so military families with a child with a life-threatening illness can go to Camp Sunshine.

SEALs took part in the challenge on their own time with a goal of raising $125,000. It's a challenge they say, despite the physical and mental toll, they will repeat, as long as there are military children living with life-threatening diseases.
