ORONO, Maine — Emera Crews are investigating the cause of an outage affecting more than 4,000 customers in the Orono area including the University of Maine Friday morning.
According to Judy Long, Spokesperson for Emera, service has been restored to some affected customers through re-routing of circuits, and service will be safely restored to all other customers as quickly as possible.
Long estimated 4,728 homes are without power.
