(NEWS CENTER Maine) -- In the old days, hunters told stories about weird things that happened afield.

Now, because of game cameras and cell phones, pictures of some of these unusual things are being made public.

On websites and Facebook pages, the stories are shared among hunters.

In Maine this year, we have seen a four-point doe, a man setting up camp next to person hunting and ghostly figure walking through the woods far from anything in the middle of the night.

This all used to be part of Maine lore. Now, thanks to digital media, we are able to share the stories.
