Red's has a line for a reason

Maine's popular lobster shack has been lining them up for 80 years

WISCASSET, Maine — Say what you want, Red's Eats has to be good.

People stand in an hour-long line every day all summer long.

Debbie Cronk manages the family restaurant.  "My dad used to say, 'Anybody can feed somebody once. If you feed them twice, you're doing something'" she told NEWS CENTER Maine.  She speaks of the business with such pride that there is a tear in her voice.

Deb's father bought the place in 1977.  After he passed away, Deb took over with the same pride of process running Red's with siblings Cindy, David and Joe.
