Rangeley Regatta teaches kids about outdoor heritage

Rangeley Lakes area students compete in outdoor games

RANGELEY, Maine — The Rangeley Lakes Outdoor Heritage Museum hosted the 5th Annual Rangeley Regatta held in Oquossoc Cove.

Students come from Rangeley, Phillips, Strong, Mt. Blue, Kingfield and Stratton, Hyde and Hebron to do battle in a series of events from poetry to rowing. 

This year, Hebron won the Indian Rock Trophy as the top high school.  The Rangeley Middle School won the Junior High Division.
