Carol Tanner's dad loved her mother's mustard recipe. After her mom passed away, her dad came to live with Carol.
He kept asking for the mustard. Carol didn't know the recipe.
After many trials, she found her mother's recipe. Soon people were raving about HER mustard!
With husband Dennis Proctor, she decided to go into business, selling the first jar out the back door of her Falmouth barn in 1982.
Slowly they expanded product lines and geographic territory. Now, Mother's Mountain products are enjoyed east of the Mississippi.
