BANGOR, Maine — Rock band Blink-182 and rapper Lil Wayne are set to co-headline a show this summer in Bangor.

It's stop No. 9 of a 34-leg "North American 2019 Tour" that runs June 27 through Sept. 18.

Blink-182 and Lil Wayne will perform with special guest Neck Deep on Saturday, July 13, at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

Bangor is one of only three visits on the tour in New England — the others being in Mansfield, Massachusetts, and Hartford, Connecticut.

Prior to the announcement, the two musical acts had yet to publicly release a recorded collaboration. But both on Monday shared a mashup music video of Blink-182's 1999 pop punk classic "What's My Age Again?" and Lil Wayne's "A Milli" from his 2008 No. 1 megahit album "Tha Carter III," featuring the artists as they are now, seemingly filmed in preparation for the 2019 tour.

Lil Wayne used a phrase from Tom Brady's vocabulary playbook to both premiere the mashup and announce the tour:

Neck Deep is a four-member Welsh band labeled as pop punk. In their announcement tweet, the members wrote, "This is really, truly a thing that is happening."

Lil Wayne began his career at a young age in New Orleans, Louisiana, by co-founding hip hop group Hot Boys. He'd release his debut solo album at 17. Less than a decade later, Wayne hit gold with "Tha Carter III," which delivered his first No. 1 hit single "Lollipop," four Grammy Awards and twice platinum certification.

Blink-182 formed in the San Diego, California, suburb of Poway in 1992 with locals Tom DeLonge, a guitarist, and Scott Raynor, a drummer, as well as bassist Mark Hoppus, who had recently moved 180 miles south from Ridgecrest. Raynor was later fired and replaced by Travis Barker in 1998. The band's 1999 album "Enema of the State" was a major hit, featuring three singles.

Doors open at 7 p.m. in Bangor.

Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, May 10, at noon. Pre-sale ticket tiers and packages begin Tuesday, May 7, at 10 a.m.

Blink-182 appears to have last played the Bangor waterfront in 2016 as part of a show featuring The All-American Rejects.

It's unclear if Lil Wayne has ever performed in Bangor, and if not, when he last made an appearance in Maine.
