Roslyn Flaherty is a Multiskilled Journalist at NEWS CENTER Maine in Portland, Maine, specializing in general assignment reporting.

She comes to Maine from Charter TV3/Worcester News Tonight in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she spent 3 years as a Multimedia Journalist and fill-in anchor. There, she covered a variety of stories including the tragic death of a Worcester firefighter. She was amazed to see the community come together during such a difficult time.

She also covered the Pawtucket Red Sox move to Worcester, the trial of a Blackstone mom acquitted of second-degree murder in the death of her baby, and countless snowstorms.

Roslyn grew up on the south coast of Massachusetts. She graduated from Assumption College in Worcester MA., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.

Being from Southcoast Massachusetts, Roslyn is excited to be back by the ocean. When she’s not at work you can find her at the beach, in a yoga class, or trying a new restaurant!
