Peggy Keyser is a Part-time, Contributing Reporter at NEWS CENTER Maine in Portland, Maine specializing in feature stories for ‘207’.

She is a graduate of the University of Vermont, 1980, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science – She first worked for NEWS CENTER Maine (back when it was WCSH-TV!) as the morning weathercaster on the early report, anchored by Clif Reynolds and did the weather for NewsCenter at Noon, where she did interviews and some feature reporting. She left NewsCenter to be a stay-at-home Mom, and during that time, hosted ‘True North’ on Maine PBS traveling throughout the state to cover compelling people and their stories that were a bit ‘off the beaten path’.

She briefly produced and co-hosted a radio program called “we’re all talk” alongside Susan Kimball and Patsy Wiggins, and then co-produced of ‘Kimball & Keyser’ for the Portland Press Herald website, where they did local features and profiles for the newspaper’s website. She is a photographer (www.coopdujourphotography.com), raises chickens, and loves playing the fiddle!
