Cory Froomkin joined the WCSH 6/ WLBZ 2 weather team in June of 2016. His forecasts can be seen every weekend morning, on The Morning Report.

Cory grew up in Northeast Ohio and is no stranger to all kinds of weather, from lake-effect snow, to severe thunderstorms. Cory's passion for weather came, at a young age, when he was 12 years old.

He is a graduate of Kent State University, with a degree in broadcast journalism. He's also completing his broadcast meteorology certificate through Mississippi State University.

His first stop in television was in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio, where he covered everything from snowstorms, extreme cold, severe thunderstorms, and flooding.

When Cory isn't forecasting the weather, he's usually out enjoying what Northern New England has to offer! He loves to run, sightsee, and meet people in the community.
