Rain & snow moves out, becoming windy | CORY'S BLOG

Any rain or snow showers should move out this morning. Gusty winds are expected, today.

April hasn't been too kind to us here in Maine, so far. Any remaining rain or snow showers should continue to move out through the morning. We will start to see some clearing through the rest of Saturday. Here's a timeline of the day for you:

AFTERNOON:

EVENING:

NIGHT:

Any of the snow that did fall during Friday afternoon and night should melt a bit into this afternoon as temperatures warm up into the low and mid 40s. There may be a few lingering snow showers in Northern Maine, Saturday.

Winds will pick up into the rest of the day. We could feel gusts anywhere between 30 to 35 mph at times. They should relax somewhat into the early evening. Still looking at a breeze sticking around Sunday, too.

A coastal storm will stay offshore as we head into the second half of the weekend. Some clouds will likely spill over into the state during the day, leaving us with a partly sunny sky.

It'll be quiet Monday, with plenty of sunshine. Another storm is looking to stay well to the southeast of the state Tuesday into early Wednesday. We still have plenty of time to watch this for you. Be sure to stay with us for any changes or tweaks to the forecast.

Will we feel any warmer temperatures? Be patient! We could see high temps reach the low 50s mid and late next week.

Have a great Saturday!

Cory
