Downgraded | GUTNER BLOG

Nothing like the prior storms this month, but a little snow will fall this morning.

I've had a bad feeling about this storm all along. A high risk, bustable forecast. I hate being wrong, but when it comes to snow, I'd rather get less than expected. I have a feeling many of you agree.

The storm center is about 400 miles to our southeast. The second in our series of nor'easters was situated at a similar distance and dropped over a foot of snow, but this one is much weaker. A band of snow will drape itself over the coastline Thursday morning. Roads will slush up, and side roads will get snow-covered. Drive safely.

Snow amounts have been downgraded. One to three inches will fall along the coast with coatings inland. The snow will taper from west to east during the middle of the day.
