PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- On April 18, 1994, the Sea Dogs played their first game at Hadlock Field.
The team is celebrating the special 25 year anniversary at Wednesday's game against the Hartford Yard Goats. Former players such as Brandon Moss will be in attendance, along with the Sea Dogs' first manager, Carlos Tosca.
Portland is 4-6 so far this season. Right-handed pitcher Kevin McAvoy will make his first home start in Wednesday's game.
