PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- For the first time this season, the Maine Red Claws got to play on their home court. They welcome D-League newcomer Long Island to town for the home opener.

Jalen Jones came out red-hot for the Red Claws. He scored a game-high 31 points. That, along with Marcus Georges-Hunt's triple-double (20 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds) helped lead Maine to a 114-98 victory over the Nets.

The Red Claws are now 3-1 on the season and are back in action Sunday against Grand Rapids.
