This injury occurred a week before the AFC Championship game when the New England Patriots played against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The extremity of the injury was not originally announced, but he was in question to play. The injury seemed to slightly affect his accuracy, but he still threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

Brady threw for 505 yards and three touchdowns in the Super Bowl loss and seemed to be fully recovered three weeks after the injury.
