Jaguars fans flood New England ahead of Game Day

If you're wondering where they are at any given time, just listen, because several times a day, you can hear a "DDDUUUVVVAALLLL" chant in the distance.

Jaguars fans are starting to flood the New England area! Most fans are spending the first couple days in Boston ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game between the Jaguars and the New England Patriots. If you’re wondering where they are at any given time, just listen, because several times a day, you can hear a “DDDUUUVVVAALLLL” chant in the distance.

The first group to show off their teal in Bean Town included lifelong fans Arley Baker, Chad Jewels and Chris Melendez.

“He will beat the GOAT, therefore he will be the GOAT!” Melendez said.

We discovered fans of other teams are starting to believe in the Jaguars.

“Blake Bortles is good, I know people doubt him, but he gets the job done,” said Brian David, a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

“Obviously, they showed the [Pittsburgh] Steelers they were wrong about them twice this season,” said Michael Laskowski, a Cleveland Browns fan.

“I do like Blake Bortles! Came into the league with a high price tag, first overall pick, out of Central Florida,” said Mark Depari, a Patriots fan.

There will always be some who aren’t on totally on board with Bortles yet, and you may know many them as Patriots fans, like Paul Daniels, the manager of the popular Boston pub The Black Rose.

“I know he was made fun of pretty relentlessly on Sports radio,” Daniels said. “My mom said if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.”

Although Daniels may not believe in the Jaguars, he welcomes all Jaguars fans to their pub in Quincy Park.

“They’re the cardiac cats because they have a big heart... they make you worry but they always come through in the end,” Daniels said.

If you don’t go there, there is a place where all fans are meeting up Saturday night, hosted by our Jacksonville Jaguars! Starting at 8 p.m. at “Game On” next to Fenway Park, you can gather with all the Jaguars fans in Boston ahead of Game Day!
