PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Sunday's America East Women's basketball Tournament semifinal action featured a border war between long-time rivals.
Head coach Amy Vachon and her top ranked UMaine Black Bears defeated #5 UNH 64-48. Blanca Millan lead the way for Maine with 16 points, while Van Buren's Parise Rossignol added 13 points.
Maine will host the America East tournament finals on Friday March 9th at the Cross Center in Bangor. The Black Bears will face the winner of the Albany-Hartford semifinal game.
