MANCHESTER, N.H. (NEWS CENTER) — Donald Trump often accuses the media of not showing his big crowds, but there was no denying the size and energy of the crowd at the SNHU arena Monday night in Manchester, New Hampshire. Flashing lights, loud music, fog machines, and most of all, a huge, enthusiastic crowd.

Trump started his speech with his kids on stage, and then hit straight for the hometown connection by bringing up his connection with members of the New England Patriots in a big announcement.

“Tom Brady … great guy, great guy. Great friend of mine. Great, great champion. Unbelievable winner,” Trump said. “He called today and he said, ‘Donald, I support you. You’re my friend. And I voted for you.”

Donald Trump appealed to the New Hampshire crowd claiming that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady called him Monday and told him that he voted for him, and even gave permission for him to tell the crowd.

Trump also claimed that Patriots coach Bill Belichick sent him a letter of support. He read part of that letter to the crowd.

“You’ve got to be the ultimate competitor and fighter, and your leadership is amazing,” he read from the letter allegedly written by Belichick.

Could this be true? Tom Brady, a New England hero, had an interview on WEEI radio Monday morning where he told Kirk and Callahan that he will not be voting until Tuesday, and that he will announce which candidate he voted for next Monday.

Trump took one more opportunity to capitalize on his friendship with TB12.

He said, “You can have Pocahontas! I’ll take Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.”

The Pocahontas he is referring to is Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who has campaigned for Hillary Clinton.

Trump was surrounded by his family, vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence and supporter Rudy Giuliani.

He took the opportunity to bash his opponent, calling her “the most corrupt person to ever run for the presidency.”

After taking the stage at 9 p.m. in Manchester, Trump moved on to Michigan for a late night rally, his fifth of the day.

Certainly not backing down in the final 24 hours.
