BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Ivanka Trump, first daughter and adviser of President Trump, is scheduled to join Sen. Susan Collins at a forum on tax reform Friday in Biddeford.
The president's eldest daughter has spent recent weeks advocating for tax reform, making several stops around the country. Collins spoke on tax reform Thursday in Sanford.
The forum will take place shortly after noon at Volk Packaging Corporation.
Republican Senator Collins and President Trump have frequently disagreed about issues such as health care.
Ivanka Trump has publicly supported a tax reform package backed by Republicans. She has said it would benefit working families, and has stumped for it at other events in recent weeks.
Trump and Collins will be joined by U.S. Treasurer Jovita Carranza.
