Why she participated:
- So many mass shootings lately and it’s just not ok. She doesn’t want to be scared at school.
- So sad about what happened at Parkland. Need change now and it’s up to students.
- Feels gun control is a big part of the answer. AR 15’s shouldn’t be on the streets. Better background checks a must.
- She’s not anti-gun. Understand people have rights to own guns, but no one has a right to an AR 15.
- Very angry at Congress
IN HER OWN WORDS: 'I don't really want to talk about the mental health issue, because other places have mental health issues. I want to talk about the fact that here, people are getting guns legally when they have mental health issues, and they are going to a place and shooting innocent people. That is the issue to me.'
