LEWISTON, Maine (AP) - Some folks work so hard that people say they live in their office.

But Republican U.S. Rep. Bruce Poliquin of Maine lives in the office in a literal sense, going so far as to install a wall bed in his office at the Cannon House Office Building.

And he has no plans to give up his unusual arrangement, even after surviving his first re-election, the time when freshmen lawmakers are most vulnerable.

Poliquin earned the nickname "the Energizer Bunny" for his frenetic pace and has been called one of the "most well-liked" representatives in Congress.

The second-term congressman started out as a treasurer under Republican Gov. Paul LePage's administration and worked his way up to re-election earlier this month. He beat his Republican challenger Emily Cain by a comfortable margin.
