WEST GARDINER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Maine State Police are reminding everyone to wear their seatbelts after two minors in West Gardiner survived a crash.
Troopers responded to a rollover on High Street involving a sedan and SUV. The two minors in the SUV were wearing their seatbelts, which prevented them from being ejected. They only suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the sedan fell asleep and crossed the center line, striking the SUV. The minors tried to avoid the car.
The driver of the sedan was issued a summons for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
