PARSONFIELD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Maine State Police are trying to find a possible abductor they say grabbed a 13-year-old after she got off a school bus and tried to bring her behind a building.

Police say it happened at the Stanley Building in Kezar Falls Village in Parsonsfield on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 around 4:30 p.m.

The young girl was able to free herself from the man and run home, according to police. Her family reported the attempted abduction the next day to her school.

The attack happened at the Stanley Building in Kezar Falls Villiage in Parsonsfield, Maine. 

Police say the man is around 5’7” to 5’10” tall, with a scruffy beard and was wearing a light-colored sweatshirt. Detectives have talked to businesses in the area and say no one else saw the man.
