PORTLAND, MAINE (NEWS CENTER) -- It's the perfect accessory to every outfit on election day: the "I voted today!" sticker. It's usually handed to you when you leave the polls, but was missing from one location in Portland.

Those who voted at Portland's Merrill Auditorium this morning were wondering why the iconic badges weren't available. Officials say, in the past, they've had issues with people sticking them to the walls and windows of the building and didn't want to risk any more potential damage.

But so many voters asked where the stickers were, that by noon-time, officials brought a box over.
