The Maine Fire Marshal's Office arrested 37-year-old Alexander Allan and 18-year-old Devon Clark, both of Dallas Plantation, on a charge of arson in connection to the fire that burned a bulldozer

Investigators said they had a part in setting fire to a Caterpillar D-5 bulldozer that was found by hunters on Tuesday in a swamp in Sandy River Plantation, near Rangeley. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

The bulldozer belongs to Cousineau Wood Products, based in Wilton. The business intended to use the bulldozer to repair a road on property that it owns. An excavator for the project was also damaged, but not by fire.
