FALMOUTH (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- A robber at a convenience store in Falmouth backed up his demand for money with a handgun.
The Lil' Mart on Route 1 lost an undisclosed amount of money from its register in the robbery which took place around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the robber showed his gun to the cashier to get the money and then ran off.
As described by police, the robber is a white male with a slender build, about 5'8" tall. He wore a facemask, black gloves and a gray, hooded sweatshirt.
