PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- Overnight snow did not stop runners from hitting the streets of downtown Portland. The 7th annual Longfellow Frostbite 2.5k road race was on as runners were splashing through the city.
The start and finish lines were near Lincoln Park. Organizers and police were guiding runners and traffic down the course on Congress Street.
The event is sponsored by the Longfellow Chorus, according to the group’s Facebook page.
