PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Portland Police are at the scene of a possible shooting on Gilman Street Wednesday morning. Police were at a building at 109 Gilman St., where multiple police K-9 units were present. Two of them entered the building. Officers at the scene wore wearing protective vests and guns were drawn, including assault rifles.

A witness to the shooting, who declined to be named because he feared getting involved in the violence, said he saw a gray Prius stop and a woman get out. The witness said he then heard two pops and saw the woman in a firing stance.
