(NEWS CENTER Maine) -- The government committee conducting an investigation surrounding the deaths of Marissa Kennedy and Kendall Chick will decide Friday if it will subpoena their school records.
Both girls were killed at the hands of their guardians, according to police.
Marissa was a student within the Bangor School Department, most recently at Searsport Elementary. Bangor Schools' superintendent said the district made multiple reports to DHHS about possible abuse.
