WATERBORO (NEWS CENTER Maine) — The Maine State Police bomb squad was called to the site of a needle and bottle wrapped in duct tape in Waterboro.
York County Sheriff’s Deputies said the bottle and needle were found around 7:30 p.m. Monday night on the side of the road on the 800 block of Main Street.
The bomb squad detonated the bottle and found used syringes and caps.
The Waterboro Fire Department was also on the scene to help with the hazardous clean-up.
Police said if anyone has any information about the bottle they are asked to contact the sheriff's office.
