*UPDATE* 6/29 2:45p – Brown has been located, according to Biddeford Deputy Chief of Police JoAnne Fisk.
Deputy Chief Fisk said Brown was involved in a minor accident in Lowell, Massachusetts, and was taken to the hospital "due to her mental state of dementia."
Family has been notified. Biddeford Police thanks the public for their assistance.
*UPDATE* 6/29 2:15p – A Silver Alert has been issued for the missing Biddeford woman with dementia.
Brown was spotted in Haverill, Massachusetts, around 11 a.m. Thursday, a Biddeford official said. A person reported to Haverill Police that a driver was operating erratically on Route 125, and her plates matched Brown's.
That vehicle was last seen heading toward New Hampshire, but Haverill police were unable to locate Brown or the vehicle. The official said authorities can only assume Brown took the turnpike, however, without a trans pass, cash-paying customers do not get registered at the tolls.
Another update is anticipated around 4 p.m.
BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Police are looking for 79-year-old Audrey M. Brown who suffers from dementia.
Police say Brown is 5’1” and 140 lbs. She has gray hair and blue eyes with silver wire rimmed glasses.
Brown was last seen around 4:45 pm, Wednesday driving her 2008 black Nissan Sentra. Her license plate is 9161SK.
Police say she left her home Wednesday to go to a family members house in Alfred. At 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning, police say they realized she never made it to the relatives home.
