LISBON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Police in Lisbon are trying to find the man they say used a knife to steal cash from a convenience store.

Police say a man got away from the Big Apple in Lisbon after demanding cash from two employees while holding a knife. It happened Wednesday around 10:50 p.m.

Police are looking for a white man, approximately 5’ 8” tall. They say the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black mask, black pants, and dark colored shoes at the time of the robbery.

Police say no customers were in the store when the incident took place.

Police used a dogs to search for the suspect but say the search ended a short distance from the Big Apple on Davis Street.
