SOUTH PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- Sporting goods stores like Dick's Sporting Goods in South Portland opened early Monday morning so that Patriots fans could buy the latest AFC Championship gear as soon as possible.
At 6am, fans were already walking through the freshly opened doors to buy hats, t-shirts, cups, and more to show off their Pats pride. Some fans said it's a tradition to grab the AFC Championship gear every year, while others on social media said they find it taboo to buy it before the Patriots play in the Super Bowl.
Either way, everyone who weighed in is ready for February 4th when the Patriots face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the year's biggest NFL game.
